Pratishta Dinam and Chevvai Ootu - February 2025
2nd and 4th February 2025
With the blessings of Sri Varadaraja Perumal, the Pratishta Dinam was conducted on the 2nd of February 2024 at the temple premises. Along with the Pratishta Dinam, the Chevvai Ootu was also conducted on the 4th of February at the Sivan kovil temple premises.
The Pratishta Dinam was conducted with abhishekam, veda paarayanam and mangala aarti. It was concluded with an Annadhanam for the villagers.
The Chevvai ootu was conducted with the abhishekam to the Bhagavathi in the Sivan kovil premises, with the prasadam being offered to Bramhanas and public. Annadhanam was offered with over 50 devotees partaking in the function. In addition to the devotees, we had initiated distribution of Annadhanam in the nearby schools. The distribution to the nearby schools was well received with Heads of the schools thanking us for the arrangements.
We thank all the contributors both direct and indirect, in cash and in kind for the support and coordination for the celebrations.
We pray to Sri Varadaraja Perumal for bestowing his blessings to all.
